
Junior High - High School Entrance Examinations for academic year 2024-2025
On Saturday, April 6, 2024, 8:30-13:30, Athens College will hold written exams for the admission of students to Grade 7 (1st Gymnasium), Grade 10 (1st Lyceum) and the first year of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme for academic year 2024-2025 on the College's premises in Psychico.
For the first year of Junior High School (Grade 7), the College will offer:
- the possibility of full or partial financial support to the first sixty (60) students who will be admitted based on their family's financial situation. Decisions will be made based on the criteria of the College's Scholarship Program.
- Up to six (6) full scholarships to students who excel in the Entrance Examinations, regardless of financial status.
- Up to three (3) full Scholarships of Special Interest to students among the first sixty (60) successful applicants who demonstrate documented outstanding achievement and special distinction in Athletics, Music or Visual Arts.
For the first year of High School (Grade 10), the College will offer:
- the possibility of full or partial financial support to the first twenty (20) students who will be successful in their admission based on their family's financial situation. Decisions will be made based on the criteria of the College's Scholarship Program.
- Up to four (4) full scholarships to students who will excel in the Entrance Examinations, regardless of financial status.
- Up to three (3) full Scholarships of Special Interest to students among the first twenty (20) successful applicants who demonstrate documented outstanding achievement and special distinction in Athletics, Music or Visual Arts.
For the 1st year of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, the College will offer:
- A full scholarship to a student who is placed first and excels in the Entrance Examinations, regardless of financial status.

Since 1925, Athens College has been providing financial support to deserving students who lack the financial means for their education. The Scholarship Program is a cornerstone of the pedagogical-social philosophy of the School and a fundamental element of its distinctive "character". For academic year 2023-2024, the College has already allocated over 4,200.000 euros for scholarships.
All scholarships, without exception, will continue to be provided to students until their graduation, as long as the conditions under which they were granted continue to be met.
